Writing group : Whats it like to be a queer BEE?

Details

No really, the Bee thing was just to get your attention!. This is a very accesible and fun workshop, based on the queer writing toolkit - created by Lou Tondeur and New Writing South, a charity who ran LGBQUI mindfullness writing workshops.

The workshop will run on self selection basis - for the writing tasks. You will be given a link to the toolkit, or you will be supplied some exercises on the day to choose. No need to share your work, or feel embarressed, this is purely you to explore writing in a safe environment.

No experience of writing required, but if you have, thats fine too. We will have 'talk breaks' when we can share, how we felt about the process of writing, and what worked best for you. And maybe we can even find space to write about bees!!.

A single bee can visit up to 5,000 flowers every day. When flying, a bee’s wings beat up to 230 times per second. Bees sleep and may even dream! All bees have five eyes - two compound eyes and three ‘ocelli’, and can see ultra-violet light.
