What we’re about
This group is for people who are interested in bringing a YMCA to Central Oregon!
YMCAs bring many benefits to the communities they serve, and I would love to see one built here. The Y offers many different programs:
- Sports facilities
- Child care programs
- Outreach programs (community, military, etc.)
- Healthy living programs
- And much more!
I have begun a conversation with the Oregon Alliance of YMCAs in an effort to understand what is needed to bring a Y to Central Oregon. I am just a person who belonged to a Y in another city and would like to see one here. I am seeking like-minded people to assist and support this effort.
