Introduction to Vedanta Philosophy & Meditation
Discourse delivered by Laura Troupe, who is currently travelling through Europe giving classes and working to establish centres for spiritual development. She is a teacher within the International Vedanta Society, which was founded by Sri Sri Bhagavan in 1989.
What is Vedanta? Vedanta is the ancient school of Indian philosophy which examines the ultimate nature of reality.
Meditation allows you to bring consciousness inside, becoming free from uninvited thoughts and clarifying intuitive knowledge. Past impressions and impurities are dissolved, beginning the process of healing and establishment in the love that comes there from.
This class is for those who have a desire to know their Self, which is beyond the changing mind. The infinite Self, without beginning and end, beyond all vibration. Thou art That!
This class will include a spiritual discourse about the philosophy of Vedanta and detailed directions to help you establish your own meditation practice.
