Community Movie Night

Details

Join us for the second event in Bringing Justice Home's "Five Years of Connection" celebration series: a special Community Movie Night!
Gather with your Louisville neighbors for a relaxing and inspiring evening. We'll be screening a family-friendly, uplifting film chosen to spark joy and foster connection among all ages. Because common experiences enrich our common life, we believe sharing stories, whether on screen or through conversation, brings us closer.

Following the film, we'll have a brief, informal discussion where you can share your thoughts, connect with new friends, and reflect on the power of community.

Plenty of delicious movie snacks will be provided for everyone to enjoy! This is a wonderful opportunity to build connections, create shared memories, and celebrate five years of "neighbors helping neighbors" in a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere.

Come ready to relax, enjoy, and connect as we continue our journey of building belonging together!

Get ready to be deeply moved and inspired by Out of My Mind, a powerful movie (2024), based on the beloved novel. This film tells the incredible story of Melody Brooks, a brilliant young girl with cerebral palsy who uses a wheelchair and is unable to speak.

Out of My Mind is an uplifting and inspirational journey about breaking barriers, finding belonging, and the profound importance of never judging a book by its cover. It's a must-see that will remind us all of the power of resilience and the human spirit.
