How much: $2400 (in negotiations with a couple of vendors at the moment, if savings are made, savings will be passed on to you, and you will know before final payment is due.)

Limited to a maximum of 10 people. However the waitlist will be available, until all deposits are paid.

Who’s keen to do a photo trip on a much bigger scale?? This will be the first in a series (hopefully) of trips away from home, and why not start it in one of the most picturesque and beautiful cities around, Queenstown NZ. We ventured here last year and loved everything about this place and thought why not do it again, but with a group of other photography enthusiasts.

So pack your passport, camera gear, a jacket or two and arrange a couple off days off work as this should not be missed. So if the thought of a no fuss holiday appeals, then this has your name all over it, we will arrange all flights, luxury accommodation with views over the crystal clear Lake Wakatipu and out to “The Remarkables” mountain range, breakfasts & dinners, tours, and transport. Note, that accommodation will be 2 persons to a room, each room will come with 2 single beds, however if you are particularly close to another attendee, you can request a king double and we will accommodate.

Queenstown skyline lookout for sunset and night shots over Queenstown

Milford sound cruise

Arrowtown

Shotover Jet (rides not included, but those who wish to do so, will have time to do so, at their own expense)

Lake Wanaka and “That tree”

Star trails / Astrophotography over Lake Tekapo and Church of the Good Shepherd (time permitting)

Devils staircase

And a couple of mystery locations that we are currently in negotiations to get access to.

You will also have a little bit of free time where you can explore Queenstown if you wish.

Warm clothes

Comfortable walking shoes, no large hikes are planned, but it pays to be prepared.

Camera gear (both wide and telephoto lenses recommended)

Plenty of memory cards

Laptop computer if you wish to edit on the go

A sense of adventure

We are keeping number on this trip low, this means we won’t be getting in each others way, it also means I will be able to come around and give help with settings, composition, etc to everyone if required. I will also be on hand at the accomodation if people want some editing tips. I am proficient with Lightroom, and am very capable with Photoshop.

The fine print:

-Brisbane allsorts photography and its organisers accept no responsibility for you or your gear while on this tour, that is why we highly recommend some travel insurance in the rare case that something goes wrong.

• Tour will not go ahead unless we fill all 10 spots, any deposits paid will be returned in full if this event is cancelled.

• Each room has 2 King single beds, so you will be sharing with 1 other person from the group.

• RSVP’s are limited to 10 people. However we will be keeping a waitlist for this one in case someone needs to drop out.

• A 40% deposit will be required within 14 days of RSVP to confirm your spot, otherwise we will need to change your RSVP to ‘No’ to make way for others who may want to come.

• Payments are non-refundable, due to bookings being made as soon as all 10 spots are filled. Bookings will be in your name, and not transferrable. So please be sure you are able to come.

• Balance payable by the 31st January 2017

• Unfortunately the weather is out of our control, so we will be going out everyday, even if it is raining. However, if it snows, some roads around Queenstown, especially out to Milford Sound, close, and if this is the case, we will find alternate locations to shoot where possible.

We are giving you heaps of advance notice on this one so you can make plans, budget, organise annual leave, etc.
