Artificial Intelligence in Project Management
Details
Sponsored by Backroc Recruitment this event will have two key note speakers - and some community presenters (contact me to get on the list).
Alex Ferguson will guide you on "How to Build a Knowledge Base AI in 15 Minutes!". In this fast-paced session, we’ll explore: Building a powerful AI knowledge base from scratch in just 15 minutes, Practical steps to streamline your process with modern tools and Real-world applications for your business or projects. Learn how to quickly set up an intelligent system that delivers results.
Scott Spence: I'll be presenting a summary of late night analysis of using AI to assist in scheduling work. My data set looks at the number of resources, the amount of work, the suitability of the tools in use, and complexity of the work to be completed.
I'll provide sample data, my prompts and idea of how to improve outcomes from this use case. Most interestingly the comparison between OpenAI's latest chatGPT 4o LLM model and Meta's Llama Model 3.1 128k 8b, which I affectionately call a baby sLLM (small Large Language Model).
Community updates: Tyson Brown will be giving us an update to his AI powered tool that you can test out here: https://utilitydelta.io/ If you have a project or idea that you would like to share please let me know!
This meetup is about Artificial Intelligence in project management, we discuss prompt engineering, RAG, practical use cases and ways to enhance the way to deliver projects. This is not an introduction - it assumes basic working knowledge of AIs in the workplace. We also encourage networking and offer this event as a way to get noticed by project management recruiters.
This event starts on time (we are project managers, right?); snacks and drinks will be available, so arrive early to network. After the 15-minute keynote speakers, there is time for community demonstrations and prompt examples of how you use AI. Feel free to please let me know! scott.w.spence@gmail.com or 04 2424 0684
Some members will be looking for project management roles. We invite you to add a green sticker to your name tag, and those who have jobs to offer will be wearing a fluoro orange dot. It is NOT mandatory to have a dot on your name tag. ;-) A dot is an invitation to be approached.
