Exploiting and patching vulnerable EC2 instances

Details
Join us and workshop conductor Ben Leembruggen, Cloud Security Engineer from Australia Post, as we explore one of the most commonly exploited vulnerabilities when it comes to EC2 instances - Amazon's VM service.
As the large enterprise accelerate their cloud migration journey and
and startups utilise power of the AWS platform to rapidly deliver
digital products to the market, security should be treated as first
class citizen to mitigate any ransomware and other cyber-security risks.
Ben will guide us through an example of how misconfigured ec2 instances that run
web applications can be exploited, and the steps we can take protect instances from such attacks.
This is a virtual hand on event so we encourage anyone from any location to come along, you'll only need access to your AWS account, AWS CLI, and "curl" command
This will also mark our last event for this calendar year.
