Out of respect to our Veterans and their families honouring the 100th Anniversary of the landing of the ANZAC at Gallipoli, the Global Azure Bootcamp event in Brisbane is being moved from the 25th April to the following Saturday, 2nd May.

With assistance from Readify (http://readify.net/), the Brisbane Azure User Group will again host the Brisbane location of the Brisbane Azure Bootcamp! (formerly "Global Azure Bootcamp") This will be a one day deep dive class held on Saturday, 2nd May to help people get up to speed on developing Cloud Computing Applications for Azure. In addition to this great learning opportunity we will have another set of hands on labs, downloadable from here (https://github.com/Azure-Readiness/DevCamp).

Unfortunately, the global event takes place this year on Saturday, 25th April. The organisers needed to choose a date that fit best around other global events, including Easter and the Microsoft Build/Ignite events. This year just happened to coincide with a centennial celebration of ANZAC Day in our part of the world.

We have made the decision to move our date even though it has impacted our ability to participate in the global charity event (which has yet to be announced). We did not make this decision lightly.

The location will be at Microsoft, 400 George Street, Level 28 (same as our usual meetings). However, given the requirement to set up tables, we must limit the attendance to 50* persons. Therefore, if you RSVP and then find you are unable to attend, please change your RSVP so that another party will have the opportunity.

NOTE that because this event is on a Saturday, lifts will be locked. Please arrive within the 30 minute window prior to 9:00am start time so we can activate the lift for you. Latecomers will not be able to gain access.
