Australia is home to some of the most ancient, extraordinary and irreplaceable wilderness on earth — vast bushlands, rainforests, wetlands, alpine regions, deserts and coastlines found nowhere else in the world.
These wild places are not just beautiful — they are living ecosystems of staggering complexity, sustaining countless species and communities that have depended on them for tens of thousands of years. Yet this natural heritage is under sustained and accelerating pressure.
Land clearing, mining, development, invasive species, climate change and fire are pushing our wild places to the brink. Once lost, these ecosystems cannot simply be rebuilt. The window to protect and restore them is now.
This monthly summit brings together charities, supporters, volunteers and donors committed to preserving, restoring and celebrating Australia's wild places. Together we hear what's happening, support the conservation organisations doing this vital work, and find practical ways to help — from revegetation and weed removal to land purchase, advocacy and community education.
