Macro at Mary Cairncross Reserve

Join us at Mary Cairncross Park in Maleny on Sunday 22 November to snap some insects. Being the start of Richmond Birdwing Butterfly season it will be a good time to enjoy the Butterfly Circuit.

(Note: Please check back for the final date closer to November, as we may adjust depending on the weather forecast.)

Plan for the day:

• 8:30am - meet outside the Mountain View Cafe before heading to the butterfly circuit.
• 10:30am - return to the cafe for morning tea

For those who are keen, we will head back into the park after morning tea.

What to bring:

• Camera (you don't need a macro lens, use whatever camera/lens you have & feel comfortable with)
• Sunscreen & Hats
• Water
• Wear comfortable shoes for light walking
