Charlie - CDO @ Atlassian talks- Past is Prologue: Design history & AI present

We may have been a little break, but we’ve been busy behind the scenes. Our final Brisbane Design Meetup for 2026 is coming up and it’s a big one!

Join us and Atlassian’s Chief Design Officer, Charlie Sutton, for a thought-provoking presentation titled: Past is Prologue: Design history and the AI present of our profession. We’ll look back to look ahead, exploring what design’s past can teach us about AI and how we respond through our practices, tools and systems. The presentation will be followed by an audience Q&A session, a chance to unpack the ideas and ask your burning questions.

Whether you’re deep in design or just design-curious, come along, meet some friendly faces and leave with a fresh perspective. Bring your curiosity and let’s talk about what comes next!

Thanks so much to our sponsors once again that show up for the community so that we can run these amazing events! Thanks to Atlassian, Folk and JDP who really do put the community first and are proud to be a part of the event.

See you there for another amazing event, Reuben & Rob!
