Bio:
I have been with high volume and business critical cloud-based applications and infrastructure since 2015, spanning a wide variety of platforms such as Salesforce, AWS and Confluent. I have worked directly with Confluent platform since 2023 and have a good knowledge of Snowflake and other enterprise databases, pipelines, technologies and their commercial applications.

When data consistency and uptime is critical, it is essential to ensure your Confluent producers and consumers are configured to survive a disaster situation. This session is a quick deep dive into how connectors and services can be set up to survive worst case scenarios, and some of the techniques that can help avoid the nightmare of a lengthy support case.

In this session I will be discussing about Kafka performance. First, I will discuss the tools we can use to test Kafka performance. Then we will discuss about configurations in Kafka brokers and clients that we can tune and their impacts.
