What we’re about
Welcome and thank you for visiting our group.
This group is as the name says, a group for "Ladies in Brisbane who would like to play social golf" but don't want to play alone or commit to playing club / competitive golf.
This group is best suited for ladies who have had some lessons, or experience playing on a course and therefore can at least 'hit the ball'.
Our group is about getting out in the fresh air, sunshine, having fun while 'playing our own game' and enjoying the company of others.
At all times we respect the etiquette of golf and other players,
The games are scheduled on Sundays, 9 holes walking and we play at a variety of courses around Brisbane. We often stay for a drink and chat afterwards; sometimes we plan a lunch day or a day at a driving range or golf clinic just for our members.
There is no expectation to play every game - although you are more than welcome to.
The main expectation is that you keep your RSVP up to date at all times and that you respect other players (in our group and on the course) and the etiquette of the game.
So come along and have some fun with a fabulous group of ladies just like you.
As of 1st June, 2025 there is a increase in the contribution fees, to $3 per person per game played. This is to cover the Meetup website administration fee.
