--- Talk 1: Remote Agile with Allison Arandez ---
Is it possible to successfully work in Agile with remotely distributed teams?

The pandemic has forced many office based organisations to find a way to continue their IT projects via distributed teams. We know this is not ideal for Agile teams to work remotely especially at the beginning of any project. I'd like to share my experiences about how the organisation I work for has worked remotely for over 15 years and how we managed to transition our delivery operations to an Agile way of working in the last few years.

-Learn how to prepare your teams, stakeholders and clients to transition and work successfully in an Agile environment
-Challenges and successes along the way
-How you can maintain team motivation and success long after the hype of the transition to Agile

--- About Allison ---
Allison is currently a Senior Director of Product Delivery in Asia Pacific at a leading global Enterprise Support company called Rimini Street. She has over 20 years experience in the areas of HR and IT Technology Strategy and Implementation, Program and Project Management, Agile Transformation, Scrum Master and Lean Thinking. Key industries she has worked in include Postal, Transport & Logistics, Utilities, Energy, Mining, Health, Facilities Management, Aviation, Local Government and Software Services.

Allison began working in Agile in her contractor days however the move to Rimini Street required a significant change in the way they delivered their legislative changes to their client base in order to cope with the rapid increase in client numbers globally. She was instrumental in transforming the delivery and ramp up of product delivery teams from traditional waterfall methods to an Agile way of working.

Three years on and the learnings and journey continues..

Allison is a recent graduate of the Path to CSP programme offered by Scrum WithStyle: https://www.scrumwithstyle.com/path-to-certified-scrum-professional/

--- Talk 2: What a Masterful Scrum Master does with Rowan Bunning ---

Are you trapped in a hamster wheel of meetings, updating tracking tools, trying to keep stories progressing and generally being the “Scrum secretary” for everything that others are not doing themselves? Whilst you might be aware that this is not the most effective way to spend your time, you may not know how to transition out of this situation and what the more impactful activities are to transition to.

In this session we will explore what the most effective Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches focus on as well as some strategies for freeing up your time and building your skills in order to make a much bigger difference for your Scrum Team and surrounding organisation.
