This boot camp is designed for our brand new dancers who are currently taking our lessons or any new dancers who are keen to join our lessons and missed out on our start of beginner course term 5, 2023. Also suitable for other dancers for other styles of dance who are keen to learn the basic steps for Brazilian Zouk in an intensive 2 hours training.

📃Materials to cover:
👉All the basic steps for Brazilian Zouk
👉Transitioning into basic steps and out
👉Simple turns & lunge
👉Fun Combo to cap it off and connect all the things we have learnt.

⌚1 - 3 PM ..... Intro Beginner Bootcamp
⌚3 - 5 PM ..... Social Mingle & Drink @ Darling & Co
⌚5 - 6 PM ...... Open Level Workshop
⌚5 - 6 PM ...... We won't have Intro beginner lesson as there will be a Beginner Bootcamp earlier at 1 to 3pm. 🙂

Welcome to Cloud 9 Social Club, where we love to have fun with friends, meet new people, socialise, and just enjoy life in general! 🤗
Whether it's just mingling with friends, meeting people and trying out new places, or dipping your toe into new experiences and adventures that you're after, we have something for you. ✨🤩
In this Edition of our Cloud 9 Social Club activity, we will be spending some relaxed time at the beautiful Darling & Co in Paddington, to mix & mingle and relax for a couple hours with friends old and new. 🙂
If the mood strikes and you'd like to try some dancing afterwards, you are welcome then to continue on with the remainder of the afternoon/evening by joining us just down the road to check out our fun & friendly Intro dance class & social party.
These casual classes are a warm-up class for our Sunday Brazilian Zouk social dance parties, which take place approx every couple weeks in Paddington, and you are welcome to sign up for the Intro class, and to then either stay for some practice time, or even longer to party on and see & experience what our amazing dance community is about. 💃🕺💖

We offer 2 Open Classes (2 dance styles) on the night at the start of each term:
Brazilian Zouk ... 6 - 7pm Studio 1 (Paddington Hall)
Lamba Zouk or Lambada ... 7:15 -8:15 Studio 2 (Paddington Hall)
Brazilian Zouk: is one of the most versatile of the Latin dance styles in its music and movements, and the style is what you make of it!
Zouk can be flowy and sensual, or funky, fun and upbeat. But the most striking thing about Zouk is that it can be danced to a huge variety of music, including the Top 40s. How wonderful is that, dancing to your favourite tunes on the radio! 😉
Lamba Zouk or Lambada: Is the origin for the Brazilian Zouk and the popularity is growing everyday.
Plus you get to be part of the beautiful, caring and friendly community here in Brisbane where you get to enjoy experiencing new things with new friends, travelling and spending the weekend doing something that makes you feel happy, and that is dancing ♥
