Surf at Mudjimba beach, Sunshine Coast

It has been a very long time since we have had a Brisbane Surf Club (BSC) surf together. The actual, and potential, lockdowns for Brisbane surfers has been a little frustrating for the BSC Organisers to schedule a surf Meetup.

This is an announcement for our next surf Meetup at Mudjimba on the Sunshine Coast. This Meetup is for all levels of surfing abilities. The sandbanks at Mudjimba/Marcoola are quite good at the moment for all levels of surfers. Of course it does depend on the conditions of the day.

I am cognisant of different levels of surfing abilities in the Club, particularly learners and beginner surfers, so if the conditions aren't conducive then we can locate to somewhere nearby that is more manageable.

The current QLD Government Covid restrictions don't affect our surf Meetup and there is no maximum limit so long as we adhere to the 1.5m physical distancing. All good.

There is plenty of free carparking at the Meetup location.

It's totally fine if you can't make the start time. I understand that traffic and parking and other stuff can delay you. Just paddle out at any time to join us.

I will update RSVP's with any change to location and where we are exactly surfing.
