๐Ÿ”น LECTURE CONTENT ๐Ÿ”น
In many mythological and philosophical wisdom traditions both East and West, the swan or hamsa is revered as one of the most sacred symbols of the divine whole bridging cosmic and human life, linking sky and earth, fire and water, the timeless with the time bound. In particular, the black swan, native to Australia and Tasmania, is mentioned as a mystic symbol of seven-fold eternity. While its migratory pattern spans from the perimeter to the interior, other hamsa species yearly flights astound modern science. Combined with their large and enchanting, graceful forms, such birds are considered one of the kingly masters of winged flight, a symbol of spiritual freedom and the willing sacrificial descent of enlightened consciousness. Please join us for a brief exploration of the rich spectrum of symbolic meanings associated with the swan fusing myth, science and meta-psychology.
