MEDITATION: A Silent Retreat

Please join us in the lovely forest of the Gold Coast hinterland for a weekend of meditation.

Whether you are a beginner or a long-term practitioner, this retreat provides the time and space for the deepening of our meditative practice in order to connect with the stillness within, and to experience the beauty and power of nature.

* You will have a private room, and all meals are vegetarian.
* First meal is Friday 8th at 6.15pm.
* Silence will begin from 9pm Friday evening after an information session.
* Check in is from 4.30pm Friday.
* Departure is after lunch on Sunday 10th.

Total cost is $320 for TS Members and $375 for non-members.

What to bring: Please bring some warm clothing, sturdy walking shoes, umbrella/raincoat, insect repellent & torch. All bed linen and towels are now provided. You may wish to bring your own meditation cushion and blanket. Chairs, cushions and blankets will be available for our use in the meditation hall. The centre is an alcohol and smoke-free zone.

2 ways to get there:
The road to Springbrook via Mudgeeraba is now open. From Mudgeeraba, take Gold Coast Springbrook Rd for about 20km then turn right at the sign for the Theosophical Education and Retreat Centre 2184 Springbrook Road.

From Nerang, take the Nerang-Murwillumbah Road, go about 20km, then take a left turn into Pine Creek Road which will take you up to Springbrook. Turn right at the top into Springbrook Road, and a few km along & turn right at the sign for the Theosophical Education and Retreat Centre 2184 Springbrook Road.

To register, please send BOTH the completed Registration Form and payment receipt to phillipa.h.rooke@gmail.com , not to the TS office. You may also take the completed form to the Brisbane TS and pay at the front desk. Early registration is recommended as places are limited.

Cancellation Policy: Please email phillipa.h.rooke@gmail.com before close of registration to receive a full refund. $176 for catering will be withheld for cancellations after close of registration on 1st November, as this amount will already have been paid on your behalf.
