Language Exchange Hub SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!!

Established in 2017, the Language Exchange Hub is Brisbane's No. 1 & original longest running FREE language exchange event - on EVERY Wednesday night.

MEETUP FRIENDS - The Language Exchange Hub event is a meetup at the popular bar Pig & Whistles West End where you will meet lots of interesting & fun people.

What can you expect?
Every week, you can expect to meet people from many different countries including Australia at the Brisbane Language Exchange Hub who come to practice a new language and / or make new friends over a beer. The first thing you will notice when you go to our event is the great community atmosphere, people in our group are friendly, kind and helpful and always welcoming of new group members. I hope you can bring a friend and join us because this is the most fun you will have at any Language Exchange Event.

There are food & drinks specials: Wine, Beer & food. Tell the bar staff you are part of the meetup so you can get discounts on basic spirits. You can also get up to 3 hours free parking in the underground car park when you have any purchases at the bar (Ask the hosts or the bartenders if you need help).

Not all our members are part of this meet-up group so don't worry if not many respond "yes" to going. We can expect up to 100 people every week.

Can I come alone?
Yes, most people come on their own.

What time does it start?
6pm-9pm. However, you can arrive before or stay back after.

What if I'm late?
No problem. You can arrive and leave at any time.

Is there an age limit?
Everyone 18+ is welcome.

Is it really FREE?
Yes, it is 100% free.

Where can you find us?
Just come over to the flag table and say G'day! If you cannot see the flag table then just ask the bar staff where to find us.
