This is a social group for adult Brisbane AuDHD, ADHD, and/or Autistic femmes to connect. Everyone is now an Event Host, so can create and delete events of their own choosing at any time, so the onus isn't on just one person.
The group is free for any femme who joins it to create and host events. The 'organiser' will not be attending those events, as they are just a placeholder to keep the group subscription alive as it requires payment.
Every woman is welcome to create and host events anywhere, though we do suggest that they be held in public venues so that nobody is risking liability in their own homes; for their own and other's safety and insurance coverage. Whether you want to go to a nearby cafe, organise a shopping mall visit, walk by the river, or have a beach day, just pick things you like to do, create an 'event' with a time and place and hopefully someone might be able to join you.
- The annual Meet-up subscription is paid for privately, so there is no cost to list events.
- Any event costs themselves are up to members to cover if they attend the event.
All members are now 'Event Hosts' so anyone and everyone can create their own events. There is no Organiser, it's now a collective.
David A, listed as the main 'Organiser', has generously added the group under his Organiser subscription (you get 3 groups with each paid organiser subscription) just so it can keep existing, but he will not be involved in creating and hosting women's events. The group is just under his 'umbrella' of paid subscriptions so the group can still exist and manage itself at no cost to anyone in the women's group. Please don't message him with questions about women's events. He is running another all gender group which you can also join and chat with him there if you wish. He has made it clear he is 'hands off' for anything to do with the women's group apart from paying for the yearly subscription as a donation to the group. Thanks David.
