βοΈ Streamlining contract testing - Ashley Davis (twitter: codecapers) - 20min
Are you looking for a simpler form of contract testing?
Do you want good test coverage for much less effort?
In this talk, Ashley shows a drastically simplified approach to contract testing, gets many of the benefits of contract testing for much less work, and provides a platform from which to convince your team of just how much contract testing can help in preventing problems going out to production.
β± Intermission / Networking - 30min
π¦ Nestjs Monorepos - Joe Patterson (gh: Joe Patterson) - 20min
Why Monolyths rule! And if you must go building microservices build them in a Monorepo!
Big teams can build big projects! But for most of us not working for Google or Netflix, we are used to working with small teams.
Trying to break up projects causes systematic failures where teams end up spending more time maintaining the complexity than trying to actually build code!
β± Closing - Safe trip home folks!
β Why not volunteer to speak next time? We're taking talks anytime! https://brisjs.org/#present for details... or...
