Hi Everyone! Yes we're back - it's been a long gap while we picked up some speakers but we're hopefully able to keep up the pace! If we can bring together enough speakers we can work toward our regular meetup events again. RSVP to get your link and subscribe to the BrisJS youtube for Monday!

šŸ“¹ Youtube Livestream of the Virtual Event:
If you RSVP on meetup you'll see the youtube link on this event page (on the right sidebar!), and you can subscribe to the BrisJS youtube channel (https://youtube.com/c/BrisJS/) to get the alert and link of the stream going live šŸ‘

ā“ Questions/voting and feedback will be gathered using Slido for Q&A:
https://app.sli.do/event/9k1rg7LTVbuTVa2db8k7pU or use code #222.

I can't overstate enough how grateful I am for those in our wonderful community who get their thinking caps on and contribute a talk of any length for our monthly events. And we need you for the upcoming meetups too! Your talks keep BrisJS alive!

šŸ–„ Feedback and the REPL - James Diacono - 35m (Github: jamesdiacono)
James presents a short history of the feedback loops experienced by programmers, beginning with those measured in hours and ending with the instantaneous. He laments that we seem to have lost sight of the holy grail, but then demonstrates how JavaScripters can get it back through better use of the REPL. Come and bring your comments and questions for James on the night!

šŸ“¦ Creating a multi-package monorepo with pnpm - Ashley Davis - 15-20m (Twitter: @codecapers)
Ashley will be able to take us through a demo of how to create a multi-project or multi-package monorepo using pnpm instead of the more usual npm. Trying to achieve some of the conveniences of working in a monorepo, under a microservice/multi package situation, can be a tough ask. pnpm has built-in support for multiple packages in a repository, and this may help us strike a balance. Be sure to get the good hints on this from Ashley!

Lots of opportunity for Q&A through Slido too! Get your thinking caps on and see you on the night!
