About us
Welcome to the Bristol Board Games Meetup - catering for all your board game weekly and monthly gaming nights with the occasional special event.
Whether you are new to boardgames, an semi-regular gamer, or a board gaming veteran, Bristol has gaming nights for you. Whilst only a few of the bigger ones are advertised on Meetup, there are groups all over the city that use Facebook to organise.
If you're a fan of heavy, long games (e.g. Twilight Imperium, 18xx, Diplomacy, Civ style games), it can be difficult to play these in a casual pub setting. We still want to cater for these games, so if you want to play them, get in touch with the leadership team, and we'll make you an organiser so you can set up your own private events. So Board in Bristol (last Sunday of the mont) is often a good time to play these longer games.

Want to try a clever social deduction game called Blood on the Clocktower? It’s like Werewolf or Mafia but way more fun — you never sit out, even after death.
By day, we debate, whisper, and accuse each other of being evil. By night, the Storyteller wakes players one by one to gather secrets, cause chaos, or kill. The twist? Even ghosts keep playing and can still help their team win.
It’s all deduction, bluffing, and drama — perfect for a big group and guaranteed to spark laughter, lies, and some outrageous accusations.
