Every Tuesday we welcome anyone that's interested in learning about the basics of Buddhist philosophy and meditation. Despite our busy modern lives it's still possible to experience the transformative power of Buddhism's teachings on such topics as loving kindness, compassion, impermanence, and karma to name just a few.
Each session includes a short talk and reflection on Buddhist ideas as well as tranquillity meditation (with full instructions). Chairs or cushions provided.
Sessions are led by Miranda, Liz, Deborah and Simon; all students of the renowned Buddhist master, Lama Jampa Thaye.
There is no charge for these sessions but we do encourage donations, which help us to maintain the Sakya Buddhist Centre and its activities. Whatever you feel able to offer. You can donate here: http://www.sakyabristol.org/donations/
