Kubefest - A Kubernetes Filled Evening

Details

We are back and back to IN PERSON EVENTS kicking off with Kubefest.

On Wednesday 17th August, we are hosting a double talk event around, you guessed it, Kubernetes.

The first talk will be by James Laverack - Staff Solutions Engineer at Jetstack. James' talk is titled "𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑾𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝑲𝒖𝒃𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒔 π‘Όπ’‘π’”π’•π’“π’†π’‚π’Ž". James is a Kubernetes contributor and former Team Lead for Kubernetes 1.24 This talk will be centred around what the community is like, how it's organised and how you can get involved.

The second talk will be by Alex Trelore - Senior Software Engineer at Replicated. Alex's talk is titled "π‘―π’π’˜ 𝒕𝒐 π‘¨π’–π’•π’π’Žπ’‚π’•π’† π‘»π’“π’π’–π’ƒπ’π’†π’”π’‰π’π’π’•π’Šπ’π’ˆ 𝒂 π’Œ8𝒔 π‘ͺ𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓". This session will introduce troubleshoot.sh, and open source project that help diagnose common issues that could impact the successful deployment and operation of a Kubernetes cluster.

Pizza, beer and soft drinks will be available on the evening.

I look forward to welcoming everyone back in August for a Kubernetes-filled evening!
