Join me for a look around the current Spike island exhibits before heading for some social time in the vibrant Wapping Wharf area.

The 2 current exhibits include:

Olukemi Lijadu-Feedback

The largest solo exhibition by Nigerian-British artist, filmmaker and DJ Olukemi Lijadu. Developed through extensive research in Chicago, Lagos, and Bristol, Feedback centres around a major film commission and marks a landmark in the artistโ€™s moving image practice.

Philip Lai Rain/Ruin

Bringing together a body of sculptural commissions that continue the artistโ€™s exploration of the material world around us. This will be the most significant institutional presentation of Laiโ€™s work to date.

After looking at these exhibits we will head to Wapping Wharf on the harbour side known for its independent locally owned shops, cafes and restaurants housed in shipping containers. Perhaps we could have a Sunday roast at the Beer junction if anyone is up for it.

We will meet at Spike Island at 2 pm and aim to stay around an hour heading to Wapping Wharf at 3 pm.
