Join me for a visit to the new Arnolfini exhibition, A Land as Big as Her Skin.

Lebanese artist Mounira Al Solh creates a vivid world where ancient mythology meets contemporary life. Her work explores identity, migration, trauma, inequality, and gender through rich materials and craftsmanship.

The exhibition features her Venice Biennale installation A Dance With Her Myth—including a life-size boat skeleton, film, paintings, drawings, and masks—alongside new works Elissa’s Room and Europa’s Bedroom, reimagining mythological figures through a modern lens.

We’ll meet at 2 pm, spend about an hour in the exhibition, then head to the Ritorno Lounge for coffee and and a discuss our thoughts on it.
