💫🛰️Planeterium Night: Light from Afar 3D 🔭 🌌

An evening of stars, science, wonder and wellbeing

Join us for an immersive evening at We The Curious in Bristol for Planetarium Nights: Light from Afar 3D — a journey through distant galaxies, stars and worlds beyond our own.

🔭 What we'll explore

How do astronomers study objects that are unimaginably far away? What can starlight reveal about distant planets? And how can looking at a tiny patch of sky help us understand the enormous scale of the Universe?

Through an immersive 3D planetarium experience, we'll explore how modern telescopes capture and decode light from across the cosmos.

✨ A moment for wellbeing

Stepping into the Planetarium offers a chance to slow down, switch off and experience a sense of awe and perspective. Immersing ourselves in the vastness of the Universe can provide a welcome break from everyday stresses, encourage curiosity and reflection, and create an opportunity to connect with others.

🍻 Meetup plan

We'll meet at We The Curious before the show, giving everyone a chance to say hello and grab a drink from the bar in the Space Gallery.

After the show, anyone who'd like to continue the evening can join us for a drink and an informal chat about the experience.

Whether you're passionate about astronomy, completely new to the subject, or simply looking for a relaxing and interesting evening with like-minded people, you're very welcome. 🌠
