About us

Calling all nature lovers! A new book club is starting in 2026. We'd love to bring people of different ages together, so feel free to bring children, older relatives, or anyone you know!

CURRENTLY READING: Diary of a Young Naturalist by Dara McAnulty (& Wild Child by Dara McAnulty, for younger readers)

NEXT MEETING: Tuesday 3 March @ Horfield Library, 12:30-1:30pm

Copies of our next read (A Flat Place by Noreen Masud) will be handed out at the next meeting, and we'll chat about where and when we would like to meet next time.

In our second Nature Book Club meeting, we'll be discussing the following titles by Dara McAnulty:

Diary of a Young Naturalist (suitable for ages 14+)

Wild Child (suitable for younger readers)

No worries if you haven't finished reading either of the books, as we'll also be chatting more generally about our relationship with nature. Copies are available to borrow from Horfield Library - just ask a member of staff for one of the Nature Book Club books.

Our next read will be A Flat Place by Noreen Masud. Copies will be handed out in this meeting, and we'll also decide where and when we would like to meet next time.
