Hi! Welcome to your Bristol R User Group!
We are a group of friendly and local R professionals, meeting regularly in person to share our passion for data and coding. Whether you have never heard of R, mainly code in Python, or you've been using R since 1993 - we'd love you to join!
As the group develops, we hope to boast a range of talks. From how-to's in the R environment, professionals sharing their personal development or journey, and even appearances from staff at Posit, themselves! Subjects will range from 'I'd never even heard of R prior to this' all the way to, 'What do you mean? I built R.'
Events are comprised of between one and three talks, with the opportunity to network with like-minded R-lovers across multiple industries, and get a chance to grab some free R-swag! Oh, and not to mention all the wonderful complimentary beverages. Champagne, cocktails, beers, and a snack or two. Plus, we always hit the pub after. Come with us!
