Welcome back!

As before, the event will be brought to you by Datacove. We are a Data and Analytics Consultancy Team based in Brighton, with experience in founding many well-attended R & Python events. Plus, home of the EARL Conference! We work across multiple streams - from marketing and customer analytics, to bespoke dashboards, process automation, and training! :)

We will be supported by the generous team at DeskLodge Bristol. Hosted by Jeremy Horne from Datacove.

------ Workshop Information ------
For this event, Datacove’s Jeremy Horne will be leading a Shiny Workshop you can follow along with.

The session will start with an introduction to Shiny, covering the basics of the UI and server structure, app folder organisation, and how to create and deploy your first application. You’ll also explore key UI inputs like filters, sliders, and buttons.

In the second part, Jeremy will dive into reactivity and observers — explaining reactive expressions, how to make dashboards respond to user actions, and how to handle more complex, nested interactions.

------ General Information ------
Now, refreshments! Drinks and nibbles will be served from 6pm. Talks will commence at 6:30pm/6:45pm and the event will conclude at 8:30pm. The conversation will continue after the event at a local pub TBC – obviously!

If you didn't already have a million reasons to come, there will be (free!) R Merchandise kindly sent by Posit themselves.
