Please ignore attendee limit while we figure out how we can fund a Meetup account that allows more. All are welcome!
Socialise with local polyamory group members in a relaxed and friendly space. Every third Saturday of the month.
Please note that this is not a space for cruising for dates or partners - it's a space for community, friendship and support.
The kitchen will be serving food from 5pm onwards.
On behalf of the hard-working pub staff:
- Please keep aisles clear
- Please don't leave chairs and tables out of place
- Please don't pile belongings on/under unused tables
Admins and greeters wearing rainbow heart badges will be around during the event to answer any questions, listen to any concerns, and just to chat if you don't know many people and would like to be introduced to others.
Please stay home if you're feeling unwell; we have many immunocompromised people in our community and want to look out for them as best we can. There is always next month!
Access information:
Old Market Tavern is largely on one level, with single steps and ledges throughout including in the garden. The doorways to get in are quite narrow, and there is not much space to manoeuvre in a wheelchair. The closest wheelchair-accessible toilet is across the road at The Exchange. Admins are happy to help out however we can, do get in touch with one of the hosts of this event if you'd like to arrange this in advance.
We welcome neurodivergent folks and have disposable earplugs and fidget toys on most tables that you're welcome to make use of. The lighting is usually quite low indoors, however the pub can be loud when busy and the conservatory area is particularly loud. If you're anxious about arriving by yourself, please message us and we may be able to arrange meeting you beforehand.
