There's an Anglo-Latinx theatre and music festival right here in Bristol , and we're going to see a show!

Join the intercambio group as we head to the theatre to see Manuelita (description below). We'll meet in the Wardrobe Theatre bar half an hour beforehand (7pm), and anyone who'd like to can join us in the same place afterwards to talk about the show we've just seen.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION (DISCOUNT CODE)
\ This is a ticketed event* (tickets here), and you must buy your own ticket. They are selling fast, so please buy yours quickly if you wish to take part.
\ We have a discount code*! Input 'intercambio' at checkout for £12 tickets.
\ The performance is entirely in Spanish, and as it is a live event, there will be no subtitles*. If you are a Spanish learner, consider whether this will be a fun challenge for you, or entirely incomprehensible! We want everyone to have a good evening.

The post-show chat in the bar is open to anyone, whether you've attended an event of ours before or not. And, as this is an language exchange group, you can share your perspective in either Spanish or English!

Manuelita
Revolutionary, proto-feminist, underground spy and the beating heart of South American liberation, Manuela Sáenz died in poverty, all but forgotten by the history books – until now.

Blending storytelling, physical theatre, comedy and live music, Lecoq-trained performer Tamsin Hurtado Clarke brings Manuela’s extraordinary story of love, loss and revolution vibrantly to life. Accompanied live by Chilean musician, Santiago Jara Astaburuaga, and featuring original music by UK Latin American Musician of the Year, Camilo Menjura, Manuelita promises a heart-swelling, toe-tapping night at the theatre.

WINNER – CASA Festival Bursary
WINNER – Three Weeks Editors’ Award, 2014
RUNNER-UP – LUKAS Theatre Production of the Year, 2015 & 2016
