(meeting at an external ticketed event) A Stoic Philosopher's Guide To Happiness

At our last meet, we provisionally set a date for the next meeting between the 4 of us who were able to make it for the same date in March. However one of the attendees Jim has spotted there's a ticketed talk (£12) by Christopher Gill at the Hen & Chicken in South Bristol the same night and has an alternate proposition which I agree makes sense so I've setup this event. And because it seems there may be some issues posting to the group at the moment, I'm relaying Jim's suggestion below inline:

Hi All, I would be happy to host this month's meeting planned for the 23rd, in Almondsbury, as offered at the last meeting. having said that, how about this instead? Christopher Gill, a Modern Stoicism Giant, will be at the Hen and Chickens on the same night so I suggest that we join him for a pint and a chat. We could think about bumping our meet to another day when we could reflect on the Gill evening. Talk on the history of Stoicism and its relevance in today's world. Starts at 7pm, 1 1/2 hr talk then Q&A. Tickets are £12 and atm there is a BOGOFF offer.
