Now Do it Again, But Better – Building on the Success of Fights in Tight Spaces

Details
Hi everyone,
Our next session is a really exciting one from one of our favorite local development studios!
James Vigor has kindly volunteered his time to talk about how the team created Knights In Tight Spaces, which was released in March of this year. It built on a lot of work from Fights In Tight Spaces, the previous entry in the series which he will go into detail on.
The description for the talk from James is given below:
"The talk will guide you through the process of dissecting the pre-existing codebase, reviewing its strengths and flaws, and deciding which bits to keep and which to rebuild from the ground up. This will especially appeal to developers who are working on turn-based strategy games, those about to embark on a sequel to an existing game and anyone interested in more general programming architecture advice. I'll share my open and honest examination of my experiences, having been through a full development cycle of both of these popular games."
Should be a really interesting talk and we'll then go for drinks somewhere afterwards!
Any questions, let me know and thanks to dBs Institute for hosting us once again.
Thanks,
Lukas
