What we’re about

Korfball is a true mixed-gender team sport with similarities to netball and basketball ("Korf" meaning "basket" in Dutch). Teams of eight (four women four men) compete to outscore each other. We aim to provide a welcoming environment for people who are keen to learn a new sport and and hopefully make some new friends on the way, with a healthy social side to the club.

We are keen to recruit both women and men who are looking to get involved competitively! We train and compete all year round, outdoors in the summer and indoors during winter.

For beginners the first 2 sessions are free! For reference we train:

  • MAIN SEASON (Sep-Mar): Mondays (team training) and Wednesdays (tailored for beginners) 7:30pm-9pm at City Academy, Bristol, BS5 9JH
  • SUMMER SEASON (May-Aug): Wednesdays (all welcome) on 7pm-8.30pm typically on Clifton/Durdham Downs, Bristol (usually set up near the water tower - roughly ///buck.barn.gravy)
