Details
This is a gentle ride through two of Bristol's parks, avoiding busy roads and with very little climbing. At about 16.5km (10 miles), it's shorter than most of the rides posted by this group.
Meeting in Castle Park, opposite the Left Handed Giant Brewpub, we'll head towards the Frome valley greenway into Eastville Park, following the river through Snuff Mills to Frenchay. We will then come back through Stoke Park past the Purdown BT tower.
On the way back through St Werburghs, we will stop at The Farm for a drink or two where the ride ends. For anyone not wishing to stay, the route back to the city centre is well sign-posted and I can set them on the right path.
I'll be on a black and red Btwin bike with a red bag. We'll set off at 1:30pm, please arrive in good time and ready to ride.

Keep an eye on the comments, if it's tipping down I will cancel.
Please respect we ride in a group and the ride leader has to make decisions on behalf of the group, these need to be followed.
The ride leader will stop for catch-ups, at junctions and hills. Please do not overtake the leader this generally leads to people getting lost.
Your bike needs to be recently ridden and in good order. You should bring a spare inner tube for your bike. This is to avoid holding up the rest of the group. There is likely to be someone on the ride who can help mend a puncture, although this is not guaranteed.
Grading definitions:
[Easy]
This will be almost entirely traffic free or on very quiet roads, mostly flat, and distances which can be managed by those who may not ride a great deal.
[Intermediate]
This may include sections on-road where there is traffic. There may also be moderate hills and the distance will require a certain degree of fitness. Flat or "easy" routes may be designated intermediate if a certain pace is expected.
[Hard]
This may include sections of busy road requiring confidence in traffic. There may also be tough climbs, either steep or a considerable distance. Suitable only for those who frequently ride for significant distances.
[Very Hard]
All of the above combined with pace. Beyond the scope of this group!
