Chew Stoke (39km)
Details
This ride is a loop through Chew Valley including the village of Chew Stoke.
We will make our way out of Bristol via the Whitchurch Way and then on to country lanes.
This is largely fairly flat but there are a few hills along the way, some of which are quite sharp but not especially long. A reasonable level of fitness is required.
We will stop for lunch, most likely at a pub in Regil, shortly after passing Chew Stoke
Total distance is approximately 39km (24 miles) with 400m climbing.
Meeting point is in Castle Park opposite the Left Handed Giant brewpub. I'll be on a black and red Btwin bike with a red bag. We'll set off at 10:30am, please arrive in good time.

Please respect that we ride in a group and the ride leader has to make decisions on behalf of the group, which should be followed.
The ride leader will stop for catch-ups, at junctions and hills. Please avoid overtaking the leader as this can lead to people getting lost.
Your bike should be recently ridden and in good order. You should bring a spare inner tube for your bike. This is to avoid holding up the rest of the group. There is likely to be someone on the ride who can help mend a puncture, although this is not guaranteed.
