Castle Combe
Details
This ride will take us to the village of Castle Combe, popular with tourists for its quintessential Cotswolds features.
We'll head out through Stoke Park to the ring road path and then out of the city through Pucklechurch following mostly country lanes.
The return follows a slightly different route, coming back into the city via the Bristol & Bath Railway Path.
The plan is to stop for a pub lunch in the village.
Meeting place will be Castle Park, opposite the Left Handed Giant brewpub. I'll be on a black and red Btwin bike with a red bag. We'll set off at 10:00am, please arrive in good time.

The round trip is just over 70km/40mi with climbing of 800m/2,600ft.
Please respect that we ride in a group and the ride leader has to make decisions on behalf of the group, which should be followed.
The ride leader will stop for catch-ups, at junctions and hills. Please avoid overtaking the leader as this can lead to people getting lost.
Your bike should be recently ridden and in good order. You should bring a spare inner tube for your bike. This is to avoid holding up the rest of the group. There is likely to be someone on the ride who can help mend a puncture, although this is not guaranteed.
