This route to Chepstow goes through Blaise Castle Estate and then past Severn Beach across the old Severn Bridge. It is mostly a mix of shared paths and quiet lanes with some stretches on road. Total distance is approximately 67km. Most of the route is flattish or gently sloping. The pace will be fairly casual.

Meeting place is outside the Nova Scotia Pub, Hotwells. I'll be on a silver Ribble bike. We'll set off at 10:00am, please arrive in good time.

The plan is to stop for a pub lunch in the town centre but plenty of other options will be available.

The weather is looking okay for Saturday at the moment, but we are in a changeable period so prepare for showers!

Please respect that we ride in a group and the ride leader has to make decisions on behalf of the group, which should be followed.

The ride leader will stop for catch-ups, at junctions and hills. Please avoid overtaking the leader as this can lead to people getting lost.

Your bike should be recently ridden and in good order. You should bring a spare inner tube for your bike. This is to avoid holding up the rest of the group. There is likely to be someone on the ride who can help mend a puncture, although this is not guaranteed.
