LGBTQ+ History Day at M Shed
Details
February is LGBTQ+ History Month and OutStories Bristol will once again bring their annual day of fascinating talks at Bristol's M Shed museum.
Telling the stories of LGBTQ+ people in the Bristol region over the last 150 years: a Victorian literary scholar who wrote pioneering texts on homosexuality, a Shirehampton seafarer who became a gay rights activist, 30 years of Bristol LGBTQIA+ group Freedom Youth, lesbian self-organised groups in Bristol, and Bristol Ballroom community – a dance culture that particularly welcomes queer, trans and people of colour.
All talks are free and open to everyone. Booking is not required – just come and go as you wish.
For full details and the programme timetable, see the LGBTQ+ History Day page on the OutStories Bristol website.
