Derek Jarman: film-maker, painter, gardener at Prospect Cottage, gay rights activist, writer... his influence remains as strong as it was on the day AIDS killed him in 1994. His story is one of the most extraordinary lives ever lived.

This solo play from Mark Farrelly (Quentin Crisp: Naked Hope, Howerd’s End) brings Derek back into being for a passionate, daring reminder of the courage it takes to truly live while you’re alive.

Tickets are £16 from the Alma Tavern.

The theatre is very small and this play is likely to sell out.

Join me in the Alma Tavern bar from 4:30pm. The play is 5pm-6:20pm. After we will linger for a drink - you're welcome to come along then if you don't wish to see the play.
