March for Forests + Lunch @ Vegeme

Hi all,

A couple of us are keen to go to this, so we thought we'd extend the invite out to anyone who cares about our native forests and all the species that live there. We need to make our voices heard at marches like this, so it's great that the Bob Brown Foundation has organised this.

In Queensland, a recent report showed the vast majority (88%) of land clearing is done to create pasture for animal agriculture, and these figures don't include land cleared for animal feed. Every square kilometre of land cleared involves the death and displacement of thousands of native animals, adding up to millions every year.

So join us in saying no to deforestation and land clearing. After which we'll head to Vegeme for lunch and a chat somewhere around 12 / 12.30.
