Presidential range 2 day half traverse
Details
We are doing a Presidential Range half traverse (Mt. Adams to Mt. Washington) over the weekend of February 28, with an overnight stay at the Grey Knob hut near Mt. Adams. The RMC hut is located at the 4400' ft elevation, staffed and heated to 40F. On the first day, ascend via the Appalachia trail from Rt 2. Descend via Jewell trail or Ammonoosuck trail.
You need:
- crampons
- Mickrospies
- snowshoes
- all winter gear
