Harriman 15 mile, 3000' training hike

Based on the following route, but we can loop around Pine Meadow Trail and Tuxedo-Mt. Ivy Trail on the way back to make it more interesting
A hike to train for the harder things to come! This will be a fast-paced, 15 mile hike with 3000' of elevation gain. Two large climbs. There is no sweep! If you are joining, be prepared to follow the pace or navigate on your own.
You need:
- hiking boots
- hiking poles for stream crossings
- water (water filter recommended)
- lunch/snacks
- tick spray
- fully charged headlamp
- fully charged phone, battery pack recommended
