WorldPride DC 2025 Ride: Red Bear Brewing via LGBTQ+ Congressional Cemetery Tour

Details
Please join us for a variety of activities to celebrate WorldPride DC 2025! We are excited to invite our Brompton community and the general public from the DC area to join us for a relaxed ride from Georgetown along the Potomac and Anacostia to an LGBTQ+ self-guided walking tour at Congressional Cemetery. All bikes are welcome and loaner Bromptons can be arranged through our DC Junction!
Congressional Cemetery is believed to be the world’s only cemetery with a Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Transgender, Queer + section. Congressional Cemetery is an active cemetery with many members of the LGBTQ+ community currently buying plots, and is the future site of the 501(c)(3) nonprofit LGBTQ+ Veterans Memorial. Download the self-guided walking tour map here.
We will then continue across Hill East and Capitol Hill and conclude the ride at Red Bear Brewery, DC's first and only gay owned and operated brewery! Participants are free to make their own route home from Red Bear on the MBT or any of the other cycle tracks and bike paths in the area. We will try to sit outside and there are plenty of bike racks immediately adjacent in front of REI.
