IT BEGINS!

As usual we will be holding our event at Pearl Studios NYC in Manehattan, yet unusually due to power outages and the re-scheduling of other canceled events at that venue; only smaller rooms will be available to us during the screening:Rooms #1210 and #1211 specifically. To make the most of the constrained space, one room will be designated as a theater and the other will be saved as space for everything else. A safe estimate for occupancy of each room is around 30 ponies at a time; basically this means the premiere will have to be divided into four separate screenings as described in the list below:

Premiere Screening : 10:00AM (Standard Definition) Secondary Screening : 11:00AM (Standard Definition) Third Screening : 12:00PM (High Definition) Final Screening : 1:00PM (High Definition) That being said, for those of you that want to sleep in late Good news feel more than welcome to! There's four screenings to choose from and it'd be preferable if we don't have to crowd any of them.

Be sure to dress in your sparkliness to help celebrate the return of the Crystal Empire! (Thanks to the DC Bronies for that idea!)

Even without a monthly meetup, even without the support of Hasbro we still have a chance to come together and help New Yoke heal in this great time of need. This Saturday if you can make it down to Pearl Studios, we're urging anypony who's willing and able to bring some supplies for our city's less fortunate. We'll be working with several other groups in the area including InterOccupy (http://interoccupy.net/occupysandy/) and meetup.com (http://meetup.com/) to ensure that supplies donated are distributed evenly and efficiently. Furthermore, any excess funds left over from the season three premiere screening that aren't spent on the venue will be donated to the New Jersey Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund (https://sandynjrelieffund.org/index.html), as well as monetary donations you can drop off at a box at the store table!. Below you'll find a list of acceptable items you can donate to the cause.

Wanted:

Candles, Flashlights and Batteries Winter wear (jackets, coats, hats, gloves, scarves) Blankets and sleeping bags Toiletries and Hygiene products Non-perishable food Volunteer efforts will be discussed over the duration of the meetup, and a some artists are planning to auction off a few of their works to help out as well.Any assistance is appreciated, and remember- if you need any help recovering let us know; We'd be happy to help.

Also on hand will be a box for Toys for Tots dropoffs! All you have to do is bring a new, in package, unwrapped toy (no realistic weapon toys like guns or knives). You can also purchase one directly from our STORE TABLE and put it in the box (or we will, whatever, we're easy!) That way a child gets a toy and the store gets some money to help us put on these meets!

While we're all certain to face continued challenges in the coming months, I'd like to remind everypony that as depressing as it all may seem; there will always be a reason to press forward, to keep calm and pony on. Never forget the friends you've made and the magic behind it all; because only with our friends can we collectively laugh and make our amounting fears just disappear.
