On a recent trip to Portland, OR, I went to Powell's Book Shop and this novel was recommended to me as a great one set in Northwestern USA. I've only read One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Next by Ken Kesey, thought it would be fun for us to try this one. Here is blurb:
