"CuCu Diamantes is a Cuban American singer, songwriter, actress, and multidisciplinary performer whose work fuses the glamour and theatricality of Cuban culture with the cosmopolitan energy of New York City. Of Spanish, African, Chinese, and French heritage, she draws from a rich cultural lineage that informs her distinctive sound and striking visual aesthetic.

As a co-founder, songwriter, and one of the lead vocalists of the Latin fusion collective Yerba Buena, Diamantes earned a GRAMMY® Award nomination, showcasing her talent on an international stage. Her solo debut, Cuculand, received a Latin GRAMMY nomination, cementing her reputation as a daring solo artist whose music pulses with Cuban passion and theatrical flair.
A self-made artist in the Republic of Manhattan, Diamantes has collaborated with acclaimed artists such as Jon Batiste and Carlinhos Brown, and has graced prestigious venues including the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) and the Kennedy Center. Known for her larger-than-life stage presence, her performances are a vibrant celebration of Cuban musical traditions infused with contemporary creativity.
