Brooklyn Bible Studies

Each Saturday at 3pm this summer we will meet at Brooklyn Central Library Grand Army Plaza to study together the last week of Jesus from the gospel of John and how the Word who became flesh can change our lives forever.

We will read a portion of the text, ask some discussion questions and discuss our observations and the impact of the text on our lives today. Everyone is welcome to join. Whether you're a seeker, a follower of Jesus, or just curious to discuss the bible, life, and meaning in this world, we would love to have you join.

Bring a bible if you can or download a bible app on your phone or let us know and we can bring a bible for you.

We will usually meet in a room in the information commons or by the cafe, but that may vary from week to week so call or text Caleb 347.598.2211 or Mark 502.415.5092 to find out exactly where we will be meeting. Feel free also to reach out with any questions you may have anytime.

Join us as we read thru the gospels to learn about who Jesus is and how to follow Him

This 13-week Zoom-based study walks through the book of Genesis as a unified story, keeping the major narratives together rather than treating the book as disconnected episodes. We’ll explore creation, the fall, God’s promises to Abraham, the struggles of Jacob’s family, and the story of Joseph—paying close attention to the text and what it reveals about God and His purposes.
Each session is discussion-oriented and text-driven, focused on a manageable section of Scripture. No special background is required—just a Bible and a willingness to engage the text.
Whether you’re new to Genesis or returning to it with fresh questions, this study is designed to help you read more carefully, think more deeply, and see how these ancient chapters still shape faith today.
